Terms of Service & Liability Disclaimer

CRITICAL: THIS IS NOT A SAFETY CERTIFICATION OR GUARANTEE.
Our audits measure behavioral drift under different monitoring framings. They do NOT certify that a model is "safe", "aligned", "harmless", or suitable for any particular use. 40% drift (or any other number) is an empirical observation on specific scenarios, not a statistical guarantee about future behavior in the real world.

1. Services

justrunthatshit.com ("we", "us") provides:

Free public demonstration tools and published audit reports (e.g. the DeepSeek 40% result).
Paid one-off private LLM Freedom Audits ($199): real paired-condition runs using customer-provided API keys and/or models, with delivered JSON + report artifacts.
Enterprise subscriptions ($999/mo): higher volume, custom templates, white-label, team dashboard, consulting time, and optional on-prem licensing.
The "instrument" (paired moral dilemma runner) and related software, open for inspection/reproduction where noted.

2. No Warranty; Not Professional Advice

All outputs, reports, numbers, and recommendations are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Freedom Theory, the F = T − I − max(0, E_raw − V) framing, and all scenario results are research instruments and intellectual tools. They are not legal, regulatory, medical, or safety certification opinions. Do not rely on them as the sole basis for deploying models in high-stakes environments (healthcare, autonomous vehicles, weapons, finance, critical infrastructure, etc.).

3. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE (AND OUR OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES) SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO:

Your use of (or inability to use) the audits, reports, dashboard, or instrument;
Any decision you or third parties make based on audit outputs;
Model behavior in production that differs from audit observations;
Loss or exposure of your API keys, prompts, or proprietary scenarios (you are solely responsible for key hygiene and what you choose to run);
Third-party model provider actions, outages, or policy changes.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR $100 IF YOU PAID NOTHING).

4. Your Responsibilities

You must have all necessary rights and licenses to use the models and keys you submit.
You are solely responsible for the legality, ethics, and consequences of the scenarios you choose to run and any actions taken based on results.
For paid private audits: you consent to us temporarily processing your provided keys and prompts solely for the purpose of generating the audit you ordered. We do not train on them or resell them.
Enterprise customers: additional terms in your Master Services Agreement / Order Form control.

5. Payments, Refunds, Cancellations

One-off private audits are non-refundable once the run has started or the report has been delivered (you receive the artifacts regardless). Enterprise subscriptions may be cancelled with 30 days notice; no prorated refunds for partial months except as required by law or your contract.

We use Stripe (or invoicing for approved Enterprise). You agree to Stripe's terms + our billing policy.

6. Intellectual Property & Data

Published flagship reports and open data are licensed under the terms stated on the audit page / GitHub (generally permissive for research with attribution).

Private customer audit outputs belong to the paying customer upon delivery. We retain a limited license to use anonymized aggregate statistics for improving the public instrument and marketing (unless your Enterprise contract says otherwise).

The site design, "just run that shit" branding, Matrix aesthetic, Freedom Theory framing, and proprietary scenario generators are our intellectual property. Do not copy the visual identity or resell the service as your own without written license.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use of the service, your models, or decisions based on our reports.

8. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction, e.g. the State of [X], United States], without regard to conflict of laws. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in [city/county], except that we may seek injunctive relief for IP matters anywhere.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes affecting paid customers will be notified by email where we have a record.
